We want to talk about something honestly for a second. 🫶 We know we're not the most convenient location for everyone in Rapid City. We're just outside city limits (exit 52) in Black Hawk and we hear about it — in the nicest way possible — from customers who wish we were closer.
Here's the truth: when we opened Goodies three years ago, we chose this location intentionally. Lower rent meant we could keep our prices fair. No business loan meant we could build this the right way, on our own terms, without cutting corners on ingredients or quality to make payments. That decision is part of why a cinnamon roll at Goodies costs what it would at a regular bakery — not the GF tax you find most places.
We are growing. And we hear you. 🙌 We're not going to make any announcements but we want you to know that where Goodies goes next is something we think about. In the meantime — we are worth the drive. And the people who make it keep telling us so. Thank you to all of our loyal customers who regularly route us into their regular stops to stock up! 💗💜💛💙💚
