💚✨ A cake with a little extra meaning behind it! ✨💚
This custom cake was made for a dear friend from high school, and honestly, getting to make this cake for her was so much more special than just creating a dessert. 🥹💚
Life has a funny way of bringing people back together, and I absolutely love that my small business somehow became the reason we reconnected later in life. What started years ago as a friendship in high school eventually came full circle through Fantastic Treats and Decor—and that makes moments like this even more special to me. ❤️
For this cake, we went with a book-inspired theme featuring deep greens, gray tones, black bows, vintage-style piping, and little details inspired by the series. 🐉👑
📸 And a little note about the colors: Lighting can make a HUGE difference in how cake colors appear in photos! Depending on natural light, indoor lighting, shadows, and camera settings, colors can photograph differently than they look in person. These greens, especially, can shift in appearance and may look lighter, darker, warmer, or cooler depending on the lighting. 💡📷
I absolutely loved creating this one—not just because of the design, but because of the person it was made for. 💚
