Seasonal blooms add a new layer of beauty to Hearst Castle each spring 💛

Perched high above the Pacific on what William Randolph Hearst called La Cuesta Encantada, “The Enchanted Hill”, the estate’s terraces and pathways wind through lush gardens filled with native plants, rare flowers, and vibrant foliage that have been part of the landscape since Hearst’s time.

During spring, the grounds feel especially alive as blooms and greenery frame the castle’s iconic architecture, fountains, and sweeping coastal views. It’s one of the most beautiful seasons to explore the gardens and experience the peaceful side of this historic estate!

Important weekend updates!

👀To most people, this might look like fluffy clouds ☁️ over Ragged Point’s beautiful $Million View. 🌊. But to us, it’s a looming storm ☔️ trying to mess with our plans for the week!

😀 We are still planning to host the rockin’ 🎵🎶🎵 Burning James Band 🎶🎵🎶 on the plaza from noon until 3:30 on Saturday, along with a barbecue and car club, and so far that looks like a go.

😢 But we have to cancel the concert and barbecue on Sunday, since heavy rain is predicted. 🌧️💧

😐 We are still hoping to host 🎸Jill Knight and Eric 🎼 on the plaza on Monday.

Outdoor events are subject to cancellation if the storm hits. Keep checking Instagram and Facebook for updates or call us to be sure. ☔️🌂
