In honor of my Mama’s birthday I wanted to share a little bit about the woman behind the recipe of my Biscochitos. Cristina was born in Gomez Farias, Chihuahua and was one of the youngest of 8 and raised by two loving parents who didn’t have much to give other than all the love, morals, wisdom and kindness in the world. I know everyone’s mom is amazing, but mine truly is! She touches hearts and brings smiles everywhere she goes. She is a magnet to people of all ages and everywhere she goes she makes friends and treats everyone as if they were her own family. I grew up always hearing “I love your mom”, “your so lucky to have a mom like yours”, “your mom got me through a hard time”. My mom has dedicated the last 13 years helping women in recovery and has impacted so many lives with just her kindness, love, compassion, and serene personality. I’ve been lucky enough to meet the women she has touched and so many have said “your mom saved me” and they have even said they see her as their own mom.
You see.... isn’t she the best!? If you’ve met my mom I am sure she has brought a smile to your face! Please wish my mama a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She is so proud of the success of this little dream of mine and I couldn’t do it without her love, support, hype up, and oh ya the recipe lol
