NEW PRODUCT ALERT!
Tomorrow we’ll have a few bags of this incredible PB Crunch! If you like white chocolate, peanut butter, and rice krispies, this is for you!

When we lived in Indy there was a chocolate shop downtown on Mass Ave that had a snack just like this. They had small and large sized bags (still not very large though lol), and they barely made it back to the house because once we opened it, we couldn’t stop. It wasn’t sustainable for is to buy a bag all the time, so I worked to make my own at home a few years ago. It was a good thing, and a bad thing! So we wanted to share it with you all, because we love it so much.

It’s a super simple, melt in your mouth, addicting sweet treat. It’s not zero calories though, if you were wondering 😉

Hi all! have been testing and testing to refine my cinnamon rolls. And I feel I still have lots of work to do to get them perfect, from my perspective anyways. I truly think the flavor is there with the dough & filling (the filling is perfectly gooey even when cooled off completely!)

But the perfectionist side of me is still searching for a consistent looking roll. Each batch I’ve made the last few weeks has looked different. And yes, I’ve tried different methods, so obviously there are lots of variables. But I think I’m slowly closing in on what works best! I’ve tested different proofing methods & timing, rolling & cutting techniques, pan sizes & qty of rolls per pan, and different icing & packaging methods.

I know I’ll get my perfect roll eventually, and sometimes I get frustrated that it’s taking so long to perfect what should be a simple recipe. That’s usually how it goes though, right? The simple things can be the hardest to get JUST right!!

All of that being said, here’s a recent batch where I tested a few topping options with them. I’m curious what you all prefer for a perfect cinnamon topping? Full icing, drizzle icing, simple syrup glaze, or sugar crystals? Or maybe a combo? Let me know!!

And one last thing, I’ll be at the farmers market this Saturday morning from 8-12, be sure to come and see us, we’ll have lots of baked goods for your Swiss Days weekend!

Happy (almost) Fourth of July everyone! As June winds down, so does my maternity leave. Although I have loved every moment at home with our new sweet girl for the last few months (and our toddler for “summer hours”), it’ll be somewhat nice to get back into a regular routine with daycare for the kiddos.

With that being said, it means my time can be dedicated to prepping & baking for you all once again! I will try to hit a market in early/mid July, but if not, I know for sure I’ll be ready for the Swiss Days market!

Let me know what items you’ve been missing and want to see, especially at Swiss Days :)

I can’t wait to share goodies with you all once again! Enjoy the upcoming holiday weekend, and I’ll see you all soon!

More strawberries means more strawberry treats! These strawberry crumble bars were so easy, and insanely delicious! Next time I may brighten them up with a bit of lemon juice/zest, but even without, 10/10!

Some days you just need to bake something. Today needed a scone. My husband wanted choc chip, but I was thinking something a bit brighter for spring. So I ended up doing both!

This beauty is a new flavor for me - Cranberry Orange!
Lots of dried cranberries with fresh orange zest, and for the topping we have crystal sugar w/ an orange glaze. She’s stunning, and tastes so refreshing and bright!

Although I won’t be at the market as soon as the season opens, I can still take individual orders if you’re in the mood for something, but don’t want to bake it yourself!

I’ve tried a few dinner roll recipes in the past, and just didn’t fall in love with the final product. Today I wanted to try a new recipe - Parker House dinner rolls, and can I just say WOW! These are perfection.

The Parker House roll is named after Boston’s historic Parker Hotel. They’re a slightly sweet dough with a classic bread texture & a distinctive “pocketbook” fold, that makes them incredibly easy to pull apart & slather with butter, or your favorite topping!

I’m thinking of adding these to my menu if people would be interested during market season. Possibly packs of 6 or 8. Let me know!!

Also on that note, we may not be at the market right away as we are expecting our 2nd kiddo mid-April. But I’m hoping we will be there before the end of June :) can’t wait to see you all again this market season!
