Tonight wasn’t anything special.

Dinner was over, the weather was beautiful, and I just wanted to sit outside on the patio for a little while.

But sometimes adding a tablecloth, a place setting, and a glass of bubbly is all it takes to elevate an ordinary night.

I had the most amazing time at the Rebecca Collection’s Under the Tuscan Sun event, where Jersey Meatbawls showed that meatballs can be so much more than just pasta.

Think: beautiful, delicious, appetizer-style bites- elevated, effortless, and ready in no time. The best part was being around like minded women business owners, especially Sharon and Bari who treat each and every one of us like family.

This event came almost two months after my dad passed… and grief has a way of showing up when you least expect it. It felt bittersweet stepping back into something like this and I wasn’t sure I was ready. But my dad faced everything in life with strength and perseverance… so I did the event.

And now, editing this reel… wouldn’t you know it- one of his favorite songs was already in the template I chose. And it’s as if I can hear him singing this song.. imitating Peter Cetera.
