Hello to my group of amazing followers and customers! First, I’ve never gone out there to say thank you for all your support and love with what I do. When I started this page, it was truly just to showcase the things I was making and help friends/family out with occasional orders. It’s now grown to a full-blown side-business, or therapy sessions as I see them! 😂 I wanted to come on here today and address the unpopular side of business, pricing. (Stick with me here!) As we all know, the price of everything is going up and there’s nowhere to hide from that. Also, with the food dye restrictions set to go into effect next year, I have purchased completely dye-free coloring and will be about 85% dye-free from here on out. There are some colors I currently have that don’t expire for a year or two yet and I can continue to use color until it expires, just can’t purchase them after 2026.
I don’t think I’ve ever put out there how much my cookies are because every order has to be evaluated for design and color and priced accordingly. With that being said, I will share with you that my base pricing will go up effective immediately (unless you’ve already booked your order for next month) to $4/dozen. Again, individual cookie pricing is based on design and number of colors used. I borrowed the following my another baker because her sentiments are spot-on.
“$75?! 😳 I can buy cookies at Walmart for $5!”
Okayyy bestie. 🥰😂
Go get those $5 cookies!
But please don’t compare a mass-produced package of cookies sitting on a store shelf to custom cookies made specifically for YOUR event. 🫶🏼
Because baby… that math ain’t mathing. 😂
You’re not paying $75 for “just cookies.”
You’re paying for:

✨ Butter, flour, sugar & everything in between
✨ Royal icing supplies
✨ Custom cookie cutters
✨ Food-safe packaging
✨ Boxes & materials
✨ Equipment
✨ The design process
✨ Mixing and coloring icing
✨ Rolling & cutting every cookie
✨ Baking every batch
✨ Decorating every single cookie BY HAND
✨ Drying time
✨ Packaging
✨ My time
✨ My labor
✨ My creativity
✨ My experience
✨ And all the love that goes into making them 🥹🍪
You send me a theme, a picture, or an idea and say,
“Can you make these?”
And then I turn that idea into an actual edible work of art. 😂🩷
There’s designing.
There’s baking.
There’s icing.
There’s decorating.
There’s fixing the cookie that decided to crack at the worst possible time. 😭😂
There’s cleaning.
There’s packaging.
There’s messaging back and forth.
And somehow the price is the part that gets questioned. 😭
Meanwhile, nobody questions spending $7 on a coffee that’s gone before they even leave the parking lot. 💀😂
I’m not trying to compete with grocery-store cookies.
I’m creating custom cookies made specifically for you—your birthday, your baby shower, your graduation, your wedding, your holiday, your favorite theme, your special moment. 🥹🍪✨
I know what my ingredients and supplies cost.
I know how many hours go into each order.
I know how much work goes into making them.
And I know the value of my time and my craft.
So if custom cookies aren’t in your budget, that’s completely okay. ❤️
But please remember: small businesses aren’t charging just for the product. We’re charging for everything that goes into creating it.
