Going to get rid of a few boat building things. Doing some serious downsizing and thought a budding boat builder might be interested.
10" Milwaukee saw with a west scarfer on it set up to do 8/1 cuts on 1/2" ply for bottoms.
8-1/2" Porter Cable with West scarfer set up to do 12/1 cuts on 1/4" ply for sides.
Old school 10" Craftsman table saw. New motor about 5 years ago, Vega fence and Osborne mitre Guage.
I'll be at the McKenzie boat festival and can bring the scarfers if interested.

The last 17X54 kit is finally done. It takes forever only working a few hours a week. I will be letting it go for $3000 and throw in the rear fan seat and hinged front seat with a shallow box for free. The pics. are of the mock up. The actual sides are Meranti but I will throw in the Fir sides if someone wants them.

I got some chines glued up for what is my last drift boat kit. She is still availiable. Can be either 16X48 or 17X54.
I may build a few prams/jon boats in the future but I think I am done with the river boats I am just much more into stillwater boats.

Got a little more done on the 17X54 kit today. All frames are done and got her flipped. Will start on the interior tomorrow.

John Day was awesome as usual. Saw this van at the first campground than a cattle drive at the launch. Got lots of fish on poppers the last day.

Finally making some progress on the next build. 17X54 kit. I have all the misc. Parts made now the stuff that makes it look like a boat. Also got a new toy, digital angle meter.

Got a couple of things glued today, one piece of long stock and white oak stem cap on the cvg fir stem for a 17x54 kit.
Also got a new gadget recently, dust deputy chip seperator. That thing is awesome.

Made some gunnel materials. Sawed the rough white oak lumber and planed it down. Also got all the scarf cuts done. Star getting them glued up tomorrow.

A client is selling a piece of Drift Boat History. A 14' Ostrum. I glassed the bottom and put a new chine cap on it about 1-1/2 years ago. Boat is in excellent shape and Randy Wilson thinks he is the second owner. He is asking $3000 with trailer (new axle and 3 new tires) as well as oars.

Someone put some really nice fitting floor boards in and a rear casting station in at some point.

I went to put the fly deck and brace in an wouldn't you know it wouldn't fit. Seems the flair of the boat lessened when everything was out so I gave it the old Stretch Armstrong with some ratchet straps to spread the boat.

Got the fairing done. The brown was all low spots. Varnish is on all the trim. Outer chine is on as well.

Gettin' my Varnish on. Super fun in a 86 deg. shop! Got a couple of coats of fairing compound on as well.

Hooked 20+ but only landed 5. This fish was the only pic. and by far the smallest

I was able to get the inside gunnel off but not the outside one. Stripped it with citristrip, that stuff is amazing.

Got a new project going. Another Ostrem, this time a 16 footer. Bottom is off, new one is built. I decided to do the interior prior to putting the new bottom on. Glad I did as it seems much easier.

Old bottom is off. Had to chisel it away and stand the adhesive off. Now to repair a couple of frames and dowell all the holes.
