Hearts at new new heights — last night’s castle wedding cake was surrounded by chocolate rose cupcakes, chocolate ganache cupcakes and chocolate buttercream cupcakes. The bride made crystal-shaped candies for cupcake toppers. The heart-shaped cake was lemon with lemon buttercream. I don’t do a lot of piping, but I’ve seen numerous piped heart cakes online lately and decided to pipe a few borders — which falls under the Lambeth school of cake decor. Alright, it was old school but worked!
