I had the pleasure of making the desserts for our 56th Linney Round Table this past Saturday. The angst was there, as always, on whether the family would like them. You know the question that everyone asks at a holiday meal? Who made the potato salad? That’s the way I felt as I was passing out the goodies. What would they think? Did it have enough flavor? Was it cooked all the way through? I’m not a decorator, so was the icing color enough? Should I have gone darker on the colors? Etc.

But everything was gone by the end of the night and I didn’t hear any complaints. In fact, my aunt said change is good (they normally have a huge sheet cake and that was not in my ministry. So a 2 layered cake and 126 cupcakes later….) (AND, if change is good, can I switch up the flavors? Yall know I dispise vanilla and chocolate) 🤣😂

Had a graduation order Mother’s Day weekend. His favorite flavor is my strawberry, their other choice was red velvet.

Now that the surprise is over, I can post! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! Tyrone requested Prosecco cupcakes and whatever other flavor. So I made Prosecco and strawberries (strawberries and champagne), along with blueberry lavender. And for her personal stash, her favorite cookies (that she did a little shimmy for), my almond amoretto shortbread cookies.
