Hello my fellow bakers!
If you get a text from a Mr. Bruce about catering his wife's bday party, it's a scam.
At least he took the long con, lol. This has been a 3 day text marathon.
Most scammers text you as soon as u post a pic and ask for 5 dz, paying today type of deal.
But I was waiting in him to say "Oh I don't use square stripe, pay pal or Go Daddy, but do you take cash app or zelle?" 🤣🤣 And sure enough that's what he said as soon as I sent invoice.
I knew it was a scam. If someone reaches out with a $1000-$4000 budget but they only use cash app or zelle....yea, ok.
Plus, he's real savvy. He asked me to cater his wifes event for food. (If u found me on Google, you should know I don't offer food). But, he let me say I only offer cookies then he jumped on me catering for a dessert table. Smart. Lol

Be safe out there and read in between the lines and also when their texts come back kinda fast and perfect, it's a scam. Their getting better out here. Smh.
