🎉We’ve been busy in the bakery creating delicious sourdough bagels! These bagels turned out so tasty and were so fun to make! I can’t wait to make more and try all sorts of different flavors.

At Cypress & Sage, we use traditional long fermented sourdough to craft every single bagel—and here’s why that matters:
🌾 Easier to Digest
Our slow fermentation process breaks down gluten, phytic acid, starch, creates beneficial bacteria making nutrients more bioavailable and overall healthier and easier for your body to digest.
🫶 No Funky Additives
Store-bought bagels contain preservatives, dough conditioners, bleach flour, added refined sugars as well as a whole list of other toxic ingredients. Ours? Just simple, wholesome ingredients and a lot of love. Our bagel base is only 4 ingredients: (Ruth our sourdough starter) organic unbleached flour, raw organic local honey, spring water & a pinch of ancient sea salt. Then we add flavors like everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, blueberries, jalapeno cheddar, and cinnamon and brown sugar.
🥖 Naturally Fermented = Lower Glycemic
Sourdough has a lower glycemic index than most commercial breads, which means it won’t spike your blood sugar like conventional breads and bagels can.
