We had SO much fun at the Giggle Gala last night! 🎉 The Wonderdog Show and Michael Kent - Magician were both fantastic. 🐾 The lobby was full of fun activities too, like face painting, a coloring wall, photos on the pink carpet, balloon animals, and more! 🎩

We were so excited to be asked to make the cookies for the VIP tables. 💕 We used freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries in the buttercream to match the Gala decorations, and they turned out so fun! 🙃

Our friends at Elle A. Design did such an amazing job putting this whole event together, and the best part is that the proceeds went to the LoCo Kids Foundation Imaginarium Children’s Museum. It was even mentioned that the museum could be up and running in 2027. HOW EXCITING IS THAT?!? We seriously can't wait to see it come to life right here in Downtown Bellefontaine. The old bank building already looks loads better since they started renovations.

Fingers crossed that there will be a Giggle Gala 2027 because it was seriously so much fun! 🤞

Can we talk about how much fun we had making these cookies for the Giggle Gala tomorrow?!? 💕 But we're going to keep them under wraps until the show is over!

The cookie design was inspired by the logo created for the Gala by our friends at Elle A Design, who have also been a huge driving force behind tomorrow’s show. I got a sneak peek when I dropped the cookies off today, and let me tell you...it is going to be AMAZING!!! 🤩 Even better, all of this fun is helping raise money for the LoCo Kids Imaginarium Children’s Museum right here in Downtown Bellefontaine. 😲

Before the show, there will be all sorts of fun happening in the lobby, including face painters, balloon artists, photo ops, a coloring wall, caricature artist, close-up magic from Michael Kent, raffle tickets, snacks from the concession stand, and more! 🎩Then it’s showtime! The Wonderdogs 🐶 will take the stage first, followed by comedian and magician 🪄 Michael Kent. It’s going to be such a fun night full of tricks, talent, and, obviously, LOTS of giggles. 😜

It’s National Dog Day! 🐾 Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE dogs.

When my husband and I first combined households, we had five dogs and 3/4 of a cat. These days, we’re down to three dogs and three cats, so technically the numbers are about the same...but I sometimes I miss the chaos. 😄

At the heart of Bellefontaine is a network of people who dedicate their time, talents, and resources to helping others.

During Fall in Love with Bellefontaine, we invite you to visit the Heart of Bellefontaine Community Showcase from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 19. Non-profits, service organizations, and community resources will be set up around the courthouse, ready to share how they're making a difference right here in our community.

We're so thankful for these groups and the work they do every day to support our neighbors, strengthen our community, and make Bellefontaine a place we're proud to call home.
