Many of you requested cookie dippers at Voiron’s Specialty Meats & Fresh Market so this morning, I delivered!

Plaquemines has been rocked by a sudden, tragic loss — 17 year old Jacque St. Ann. One week after raising thousands of dollars for the Williams family, Voiron’s is doing the lord’s work once again, by showing support to Jacques mother, Mia St. Ann. Mia is also a cousin to the William’s family and was also rallying and helping raise funds for Trace and the William’s family.

To help Mia while she grieves and taking time off of work, the Voiron’s are selling boiled shrimp plates today for $20/plate from 11am until sold out. 100% of proceeds will be donated.

While I would have loved to do some cookies and donate a percentage to Mia as I did for the Williams family, time wasn’t exactly on my side this week. I already had a full plate prior to the planning of this. However, I will be donating some cookies in remembrance of Jacque directly to the family over the weekend.

Let’s show up for another one of our own, y’all. Our community has really been showing out in a time of darkness & it’s very humbling to witness in a world full of ugly.

I walked in Voiron’s Specialty Meats & Fresh Market with almost 2 more dozen and this is what is left…well, that’s before I got stuck helping in the kitchen and running to the store for some more cheese. They’re lucky I love them 🤪😆

But honestly - I don’t know what exactly is left, but if any, not very many. They went as soon as I would bring them in.

There is one thing I DO know in the midst of chaos…y’all are really showing out for Trace & his family! 🫶🏼

All pre-orders are being dropped off as we speak. I am leaving some extras for purchase, but going home to get more and will be back in a bit with more.

UPDATE: jk the extras I brought sold within the 10-15 minutes I was there. Y’all are crazy 😳 I’ll be back with more in a bit!

The Voiron’s good friend T-Bone, his wife Ellen, and their son Trace, need your support the most right now. Trace was involved in a serious football accident.

This Friday, Voiron’s Specialty Meats & Fresh Market will donate all of our stockyard slider proceeds to the Williams family to help ease some of their financial burdens as they navigate through this difficult time.

Dani’s Cookie Co has opted in to help - cookies with the image below will be sold for $5 each. For every cookie sold, I will donate $2.00 to the family. Pick ups will be at Voiron’s the same time and date of the sliders sale.

Pre-orders are recommended for sliders, but not required. To place an order for sliders, please call Voiron’s (504) 259-0969

Pre-orders for cookies are required, but I do plan to have some extras for sale at Voiron’s as well from 11am to 2pm on Friday. To order a cookie, please comment below with how many!

Had the honor of creating these gems for the KKVS annual r***e using their logo and also their “don’t stop believin’” theme & I was sold out by intermission 😳

I also had the honor of making “special” cookies for specific individuals that took part in the show for their gift bags.

Thank you all for supporting the cause & my small business. Next year, I’ll have to make double😆
