I call this King's Cake
My version of the Swedish Prinsesstårta.
My King's Cake begins with the components of the Prinsesstårta, but incorporates the traditional flavors of a king cake.
A delicious vanilla sponge is layered with cinnamon vanilla crème pâtissière, topped with a candied pecan whipped cream and finally enrobed in a mardi gras marbled marzipan.
This cake is still all-natural and uses all-natural coloring! (marbled coloring is unique with each cake).
Serves 12-16
