Had the pleasure of making my daughter a three tier Carrot Cake for her 10th birthday! Couldn’t find my icing tips so had to freehand the lettering. Don’t judge me. The flavor was impeccable though, especially given this is only the second carrot cake I’ve made in my entire life.

Today, I dropped a special “Kindness Bag” off in person but they won’t see it until still another few hours. Chocolate Strawberries, Peanut Butter Balls, Karamel Kix, Triple Choc Brownie Hearts, and a very special jar of newly mixed bourbon vanilla extract to age for years to come. Fresh Ugandan beans in that Kerr jar! To a life well lived, by a man who knew no strangers. May his legacy of life and love for it, live on through the telling of memories, forever. 🫶🏼❤️🫶🏼

Kindness Boxes 2026

Someone asked me how I decide who I’m sending these boxes to. There are really five, separate criteria.

- A person I see via social media doing kind things without the need for recognition/clout.

- A person I know personally that I see rarely that I observe not being so kind in person or online. This box is to soften the heart.

- A person I know personally that I feel is under appreciated.

- A person I see that is down on their luck and feel they need some encouragement that they are seen and their life matters.

- A person from my past that comes to mind at some point and I feel the need to let them know how they impacted my life development.

My love language is service to others. I could truly win a million dollars and if I wasn’t helping people, it would only make me sad. Much love. 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹🙏🏻
