My grandson, Kane, and I had so much fun decorating his 8th birthday cake! He chose the toppings and chose where to place it all on the cake! Great job Kane! Happy 8th birthday!

When you tell your grandson “no” to stopping at the ice cream shop and that you’ll make him some at home. He doubts you but in the end he says it’s better than the ice cream shop! ❤️ Vanilla ice cream with homemade hot fudge, crushed up M&M’s, and marshmallows! He loved it!

Going through a box in my attic I found ths photograph of my Great Gramma Opal. She was a remarkable woman and talented baker. As a child visiting her, I was too caught up in playtime with my siblings to notice her baking skills, but now I'd cherish the opportunity to be baking alongside her to learn from her expertise…and to learn her secrets!
