Greetings Tasty Concoction Supporters!
Some of you who know me personally know that our life took a major shift in November. Our family went from 5 to 7 unexpectedly after the passing of my husband’s dad.
As much as I love baking for all of your special occasions (or random Tuesdays!), it’s been super difficult balancing this major life change and all that has come with it, along with operating my own business. I feel like I’ve been slacking in so many areas and it’s not fair to all of you. To be honest, the expectations I put on myself to deliver perfection and to not be able to follow through has really taken a toll mentally.
For now, we think it’s best to take a break from baking and peruse other opportunities to help support our now frat house (as we lovingly call it with 5 boys).
I truly believe that my purpose on this planet is to bake for the good of others. I’ve held several bake sales to show local families extra love when life throws them curve balls and will continue to do so. My mission is to show others the same amount of love and support my family has been shown this last month and a half.
I might be back in another chapter of life, who knows? Either way, I appreciate each and every one of you so much! Trusting me with your special events has brought me so much joy!
If you’re already on the books I plan to happily fulfill those orders!
