Courtney is the kind of person you should probably be concerned about because she will casually say, “I’m just going to make a few cookies,” and somehow end up running a whole bakery, creating themed collections, inventing new desserts, and convincing herself that she absolutely has time for one more custom order.
She is dangerously creative, which means ordinary occasions are no longer safe. Birthdays? Cookies. Holidays? Cookies. School starting? Cookies. Flag Day? Somehow… cookies. National Donut Day? Definitely cookies shaped like donuts.
She has three boys, so she’s already operating on a level of chaos most people aren’t emotionally prepared for. Add a cottage bakery, a market, custom orders, seasonal launches, and a tendency to say “I’ve never made that before, but I’ll try” and you have a woman who apparently views sleep as an optional hobby.
Also, don’t make the mistake of telling her you like something she baked.

And if you compliment her work too enthusiastically? Congratulations. You’re now on the permanent customer list.
She’s sweet, ridiculously sentimental about the people she loves, fiercely proud of her family, and genuinely puts her heart into what she makes—which is probably the biggest warning of all.
Proceed with caution. She will feed you, make you laugh, and somehow have you ordering a dozen custom sugar cookies before you realize what happened. 😂🍪
