Hello Friends. I need your help. I'm trying to rebuild my business Locs101Studio. I desire to stay in this community and serve as a . But due to of the East community my old shop was tore down and new building is slowly being erected in its place. Like myself dozens of local business have been affected and have had to shut their doors. Hundreds of families have lost their homes due to over inflated housing prices and property taxes continuing to rise. The neighborhood that was once an affordable place to live for decades is now OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Locs101Studio has been a pillar in this community since it open its doors in 2010, creating jobs and cultivating positive relationships within the community. Each year I would spend countless of hours, days, and months even, listening to music, booking touring artist, and transforming my lot into an outdoor festival ground for the entire community to enjoy. The 101 Neighborhood Block Party 👈🏾 All this while operating doing and . I love what I do and I love my community. But like I mentioned before, I would like to stay in this community. I have found a new building located in the Historical Black Neighborhood of East Austin. The property is just minutes from downtown and close to U.T. Now my friends, I require a bit from you. I need you to HELP me get Locs101Studio back! If you cant help monetarily, I understand 🙄.
