New year, new direction. I will no longer be baking for Cups & Cones (they still have some stock so go by and get yours before it's all gone). Having started a new non-baking job, I have decided the retail part of the business had to give. I am still baking for individuals though, since I can do that in my home kitchen, so please let me know if you want anything -- cakes, cupcakes, brownies, coffee cake, muffins, whatever! Gluten-free friends: Sprouts is running a Gluten-free Jamboree Sale (or some such name) and has all GF products 25% off this week. Go by and stock up! Example: Udi's bread $4.11/loaf instead of $5.49. Still insanely expensive but that is not to be helped...

Exploring the idea of offering pies in November and December. Chocolate, pumpkin, and pecan, most likely. What is your favorite pecan pie recipe? One recipe I found for "Texas Pecan Pie" included heavy cream. Yea or nay?

Tip: If you stop in at Cups & Cones and don't see the gluten-free treat you want, please remember to ask the staff to check in the back. Often they are too busy to restock the shelf during a shift, but they usually have a few of everything on hand.
