S’mores starts with soft cinnamon roll dough layered with graham, chocolate and marshmallow, then gets finished with marshmallow frosting, chocolate drizzle, graham crumble and a little extra chocolate on top.

Basically, subtle was never the assignment.

Well… I guess it’s time to make this official. 🤎

Hi, I’m Kenietha(ka-knee-tha), the baker behind Velvet Krème Co.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you’ve probably watched me go from baking for family and friends to spending entire weekends in my kitchen making cinnamon rolls, blondies, cake pops, cookie pies and whatever else I decided I absolutely needed to try. 😂

Somewhere between the recipe testing, late-night decorating, packaging orders and hearing “you need to sell these” one too many times, Velvet Krème became a real thing.

So I figured it was finally time to properly introduce the little business behind all those sweets.

Velvet Krème Co. is my home-based cottage bakery here in Augusta, Georgia, specializing in made-from-scratch sweets with a little extra personality. You’ll find rotating treats, limited drops, custom orders and probably a few things I dreamed up just because they sounded too good not to make.

And I’m bringing you along for all of it. The pretty finished products, the behind-the-scenes chaos, new flavor experiments, upcoming drops and everything in between.
