I know sometimes the other side of the camera feels like chaos, like there’s no way that just went well, but what my eyes just saw tells a whole new story - love exists in the chaos. It’s all worth capturing and is such an honor to give 🤍

This beautiful season is flying by, and I’m so grateful to watch suns set, storms roll in, bubbles fly, and families have evidence of their love and fun together 🤍 On my drive home from each session, I can hardly explain the feeling of gratitude I have for every single part 🙏🏽 (ok maybe not the weather watching, me and my clients are tired of being forecasters) Thank you to my wonderful clients these past few weeks (and always!!) for being flexible, rolling with whatever weather we’re dealt, and finding the love in this messy life together 💗

Carley and Jon 🤍 I couldn’t wait to be back at The Kester Homestead Wedding Venue, Finger Lakes NY with these two, and what a stunning fall day for a wedding this past Saturday 🥹🙌🏽

Their wedding was buzzing with so many kids which is pretty atypical for weddings nowadays, but it was one of my favorite things about the day. Nobody will leave kids to party on the dance floor all alone, and when I tell you their people cut a rug ALL night, I mean it! Honestly what’s a more perfect venue for littles to get down at - the dance floor is carpeted for their little dancing feet 😆🙌🏽

Thank you to Carley and Jon for inviting me into your joy and celebration. You have the most incredible families and friends, and it was such a pleasure witnessing this day and capturing it for you 💗

Over the weekend, Jess and Joe - the Yin and Yang energy that every relationship needs, btw - got married at the beautiful Aster Estate Wedding Events and man, it was such a fun day. Beyond fun, there were joyful tears and such beautiful moments, simple and thoughtful details, and so much love between and for these two 💗

I almost always wish I could hit the dance floor after my official coverage ends, so it was a dream come true to be amongst friends, ending the night right along with them 💃🏻🕺🏿 Many thanks for Simple Roast Coffee for connecting us all 🫶🏽☕️

It’s already the start of another weekend - is time speeding up or is life just life-ing? 🧐

Last Saturday I spent the day under the biggest sky with Alex and Patrick, their families and dearest friends 🤍 I loved incorporating all of the spots at Skyline Lodge that made them fall in love with the venue, capturing the home made details in their table decor, and chatting with their guests - my favorite pastime on a wedding day 😅 It’s true that if you can’t find me, I probably accidentally got sucked into a conversation with your peeps 😆

Goodbye, 7 pm Sun 🌞 See you in… April? Thank you for all the summer memories 🫶🏽

Sarah and Marshall were the perfect pair to soak in this night with, laughing and running and spinning, and our chats in between photos brought the feeling full circle for me. I always leave sessions feeling better than I was before~ witnessing love, joy, and this beautiful world with sunsets and flowers along the side of the road is what it’s all for 🤍

And with this shoot, I declare it officially feels like Fall 🍂

Theres a reason the beach feels serene, even when it’s windy and sandy and chaotic. Why we go there even though seaweed might touch us, and we’ll have sand in our shoes and our hair. The oceans and lakes and rivers connect us all, become us all - there’s nowhere on this earth you can be where you’re not in connection to everything else 🤍 the name of the water is one that belongs to everyone, one that was given to it by ancestors who relied on it, and really - doesn’t actually matter because what’s real and true will always exist regardless of who names it something else.

Happy Friday 🫶🏽 I hope wherever you are, you’re there fully and with love to give!

Some stories are just meant to be 🤍 Ashley and Kevin proved that you don’t have to plan a wedding for a year, with their beautiful, intimate celebration this past weekend! I’m so glad I could capture all the love, the cousin fun, and their favorite people with them 💗

This is why I keep a few weekends available each year, cause love doesn’t need a timeline and sometimes you can’t know which way life will take you 😏🫶🏽

It rained everywhere except this beach on Wednesday, and I have no doubt that it’s a wink from the universe, a gift to make these photos so special. Perhaps it was a thank you to Carly and Ryan for waiting patiently (not so patiently some days, I’m sure) on their sweet Cora 💗 what a dream it was to be with all three of them on such a gorgeous night, working in tandem with whatever the universe has in store for us all ✨
