I’m not gonna lie… I was a little nervous about making a sphere 😂 but figuring it out was SO much fun! This was also my first time making a fully fondant-covered cake and I’m pretty proud of how it came together! ✨

I’m really enjoying this baking journey, seeing myself grow with every cake.❤️

And y’all… that basketball 😂🏀 I made it with a measuring spoon! Sometimes you have to look around the kitchen and get creative because who needs fancy tools when you have a measuring spoon?! 😂

Birthday Girl: “I love a good carrot cake ...” “You know, carrot cake sounds really good...” “Have you ever made carrot cake?”

Me: *takes the hint* 😂🥕🎂

After several *not-so-subtle* hints from the birthday girl 👀🥕🎂, I finally gave carrot cake a try for the very first time!
And because this is Tashi’s Tasty Treats, you already know we had to make it 100% vegan. 🌱✨
Moist cake, warm spices, creamy frosting, and one very happy birthday girl. I’d say those hints paid off. 😂

This dessert is super nostalgic for me and reminds me of my time with my Thai sister, who used to make it often 💛 I also challenged myself to practice some Thai while baking 😅 ( slightly embarrassed but tons of fun!)

Roaring into FOUR 🦖🌋✨

Another one of Tashi’s faves and this dino-mite cake was too fun not to share! From the chocolate “dirt” to the mossy details and our little volcano (wait for the sparkler moment in the next clip 🔥👀), every piece was made to bring this Jurassic vibe to life. And yes everything is edible (Kai loved the rocks) except the dinosaur and the #4 candle… handcrafted with love by me 💚

Although my drip failed me lol I love how this turned out
