Downtown Aledo is getting ready for one of the happiest nights of the year. Christmas Tyme in Aledo returns Saturday, December 6 from 3 to 8 PM, and this year’s celebration brings our favorite traditions together in one festive stretch of holiday charm.
Historic Front Street will turn into a lively open-air market filled with 80+ local artisans selling handmade goods and delicious treats. It’s the perfect chance to support small businesses and check names off your holiday shopping list while enjoying the bustle of a true hometown market.
The holiday fun extends across the tracks to food trucks and local restaurants serving delicious eats, then over to the Aledo Commons where photos with Santa, a tree lighting ceremony, kids activities, a petting zoo, a community stage and a dazzling drone show will keep the magic going all evening. It’s the kind of night that wraps the whole community in warm fuzzies and neighborly cheer.
