This is a petition for the preschool at Powder Springs First Baptist Church. They are abruptly closing the preschool and the staff, students, and parents are telling. The preschool has been a part of the community for 50 years. Apparently it is too costly? I am not sure of all the details. But I do know the church and preschool are non profit. Why can't the church help support the preschool? My kids went to a church preschool. I would hate for them all to close. If your feel the same, sign the petition. Please. They can use community support.

My very last cake order. My friend Christa ordered it. I did the first cake for her almost exactly 11 years to the day that she picked this one up. (Her wedding cake) And so many more cakes in between. Like so many of you, she became more than a customer. She is a dear friend. Thanks Christa Taylor Askew and all of you wonderful people who ordered cakes and made Flour Child a success.

Mr. Stripey is missing! I went to the shed to feed them and he is nowhere to be found.:( I am hoping his mama just took him out on am adventure. We looked everywhere. Which leads me to my next issue. Our beautiful Percy. I am afraid her Mama will take her off, too. And she is very socialized to people. Doesn't like the grass. Cries when she gets too far from the shed. She NEEDS to be an inside kitty. She is eating dry food, drinking and using the litter box. I wanted to keep her with her mama and brother until she is 8 weeks old. But we don't have that option now. Please, does anyone want to add this little beauty to your home? Caleb and I are highly allergic to cats, and can't have them in the house. Not to mention Louie would think it was a squeaky toy and hurt it. Please let me know.
