Sweet Creations by Candi Cupcake Wars Winner, Wedding Cake baker and decorator. Hi I'm Candi Pittman. I have been baking from a very early age as most bakers have. Thank you so much!

After working in corporate America, I decided to return to the workforce as a baker at the Blue Eyed Daisy in the Serenbe community in South Atlanta. There I honed my skills as a baker and decorator. We competed on the Food Network show, Cupcake Wars in June 2012 and we won! I also placed fourth in a local wedding cake competition in 2013. I soon realized my passion was making beautiful wedding ca

Husband-wife team here! Meet Hank and Kara! We are the proud owners of The Venue at Murphy Lane located in Newnan, GA.

What originally started as a “leap of faith” dream has grown into a beautiful wedding and special events venue business!

Our gorgeous countryside estate located on 88 acres of happiness is meticulously manicured and attentively cared for by Hank. He is also very involved with our clients and is sure to stop by and meet with our clients too. Hank holds the esteemed title of mixologist for all of the delicious Murphy Lane Bar signature cocktails. He is quite possibly the hardest working man on this Earth!

Kara spends time conversing with and educating potential brides, scheduling tours and meetings, touring with clients, meeting and talking with vendors and clients, answering calls and emails and keeping up with Social Media and current trends in the wedding industry.

We feel so blessed to be able to live right on this beautiful property which allows us to be very hands-on with our clients. We believe our property is meant to be shared with others. It is truly a peaceful, serene and happy place! You will witness some of the most amazing sunsets ever right here at Murphy Lane.
