That love started years ago when my son was little. Born with a dairy allergy, store bought birthday cake was out of the question. I wanted him to have the cute birthday cakes that all his friends had, so I started decorating his cakes. The more I baked and decorated the more I realized how much I enjoyed it. The process became my “me time”. The ability to express myself through baking and decorat
ing, perfecting every detail, was gratifying. What started out as something I did to make my son's day special, quickly became a little side gig. Family and friends were requesting cakes on a regular basis. I continued baking for fun while maintaining a career in the health field for 15 years, until I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to bake out of my home for a living. Thanks to my wonderful husband, Joe, who made this adventure possible. I get to do what I love every single day. Every cake you get from me is baked with love.
