Hi FB family! This contest may look familiar as I recently posted that my girl, who also gets down in the kitchen, was selected for this contest. What I didn't know at the time was that, I, too, would be chosen for this contest! So, one way or another, this crown is coming to Portugal! The contest is to be voted Favorite Chef, a magazine cover, a tv appearance with Carla Hall, and prize money!

One of my dear repeat customers requested a chocolate cake. So I made them a chocolate layer cake with red wine roasted strawberry buttercream and strawberry caramel sauce. Was so delicious, I decided to make two! I don't do ordinary cakes. Contact Jessicakes when only the extraordinary will do!

Lawd, bless me with self discipline. These brown butter sweet potato cupcakes with maple bourbon buttercream have me in a headlock right now! Why am I about to make bourbon caramel and marshmallows? Obviously, I have missed baking. Also, I have a boatload of sweet potatoes I needed to bake.
