All things must come to an end...

Unpretty Cookie Company was started as a Homeschool project for my children in 2009.
Those children are now all adults with ventures of their own. The concept of Unpretty Cookies no longer serves us as a family.

With that being said. We are fading to black over the next 90 days. We will slowly fade out all inventory by creating mystery boxes with ingredients on hand.

We will offer butter pecan toffee and brownies until final sale day.

There are no words to express how much so many black owned business owe to this man right here.

the curator of is the ultimate proponent of "The Culture"
His tongue in cheek approach to educating the masses with Black Food Facts has engaged millions of us. He has also infuriated a few of the OTHERS.

He has introduced me to so many black owned restaurants and products.

Can we talk about how has post propelled to a whole new level. I am forever grateful.

If you're not following him on socials please do. Learn about black food and history from this Educator based out of "The great state of Charleston" .
Get schooled about the goodness of tea and how to properly enjoy it. Travel the country and try the best of the best in black food offered.

Throwback Thursday to the beginning of the Global Panini when I had way too many bananas to use and I was baking muffins.

So glad we have evolved to a few steps away from that.
Although cookies are my favorite thing to bake and I'm really good at it. (If I do say so myself).

I can absolutely bake other things when I want to. Sometimes I really want to.
I think I'm getting an itch to try some new things.

has curated the epitome of excellence on desserts and a luxury brand.

I am so inspired by her ability to pivot her brand with every twist and turn life throws her way. I've watched this inspiring young artist build her brand in ways that would break most bakers.

I have learned to much in the past year of following Blondery] on IG and YouTube. I will continue to be a fan. She stands for what she believes, she fights through adversity, she builds a team and trusts them.

Her blondies are ridiculously delicious. 😘

Black History Month Spotlights on a Titans of Titans.

TC Williams HS graduate, classmate, comedian, man of the Southside taking Fried Chicken to new levels.

Rock Harper won season 3 of Hell's Kitchen. True to his Alexandria self on every episode. I was glued to the TV watching each week.
This is someone I once knew, someone I went to school with. This is someone I had 3rd period science with; on National TV and killing it.
He made it to the finale. It was time for dessert. I knew this man was going to make chocolate chip cookies. I knew he was going to win.
Watching with baited breath I knew he was going to bake the cookies that permeated the halls of our high school. I could smell them. I could taste them.
He not only baked the best cookies ever he created a cookie martini...cookie-tini if you will.

This young man from Alexandria VA...you know the V in the DMV. He won Hell's Kitchen!!!!

It was this day that my yard sale cookies became Unpretty Cookies.

I've never told anyone this. But, that night gave me an inspired idea to create cookies for dessert shakes that people would love. I did for quite a few catered events.
I saw a fellow Titan do amazing things and from there I took my idea and created a whole thing.

Thank you keep inspiring us. Keep creating most amazing things. Keep winning.
