I’m happy to announce that Smith’s Sweets cookies is now Vegan.
As some of you may know, one of the reasons I took a break was to focus on my nutritional conscience.
I have been vegetarian for over a year now and in the last few months I have been trying to go vegan. I felt an internal struggle every time I made my cookies. My cookies contained butter, cream cheese and meringue powder. All items provided by animals. Luckily, I found and had some people taste test a new vegan recipe and it is delicious.
I am going to continue to try to create flavors such as lemon, apple, strawberry, etc…
I hope to have your continued support in this new path I am taking.

With a grateful heart, Smith’s Sweets is temporarily closed. I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part in all of your celebrations. I’m taking some time off to focus on my faith, family and health and to recharge. Thank you for your loyalty. I’ll be back soon!!!
