It's a dreary rainy day! Nothing a fresh baked loaf of bread can't fix!

Totally agree, especially really unique items you don't see everyday and in the same community ugh!

Well…. 😂

When I made yesterday’s post, I genuinely wasn’t expecting the response it got.

The comments. The messages. The shares. And story after story from other small business owners saying:

“THIS. This happened to me too.”

&& honestly, that was the biggest takeaway for me.

There’s a huge difference between being inspired by someone & repeatedly trying to become a version of someone else.

We all get ideas from somewhere. We see a display we love. A product catches our eye. Someone does something clever and it gets our own wheels turning. ✨

That’s completely normal.

But inspiration should pass through YOU before it comes back out.

Your personality.
Your ideas.
Your weird little quirks.
Your way of doing things.

Because THAT is what people eventually connect with. 🥹

I started The Bread Box with absolutely no roadmap for what this thing was supposed to become. I’ve experimented, screwed things up, changed my mind 100 times, built things, ripped things apart & somehow created this strange little bread world that feels completely like me.

And that’s the fun part.

So if you’re building something of your own…

Please build YOUR thing.

There is room for another baker. Another florist. Another photographer. Another farm stand. Another creator. Another small business.

But there’s only one YOU.

Don’t waste that trying to be somebody else. 🖤

& judging by yesterday’s comment section… apparently a whole bunch of us needed to say that out loud. 🖤

Another batch of a fan‑favorite 🍪
Cookies ’n Cream Cookies — stuffed with a Hershey Cookies ’n Cream Kiss, packed with double‑chocolate ganache Oreos, Ghirardelli chocolate & white chocolate chips, and finished with a mini Oreo on top.

Soft, loaded, decadent, and absolutely over the top. These never last long on the cooling rack.
