This cake was a fun cake that had me really thinking about getting serious about cake decorating again. Everything was going very smoothly and ahead of schedule. I was actually thinking I was going to deliver it early. I didn’t get a picture of the original cake or the one that lost the top 3 tiers in the back of my husband’s truck. But, I didn’t throw in the towel. I was able to salvage 2 tiers and I had actually baked 2 extra tiers out of the leftover batter. The top 3 tiers are smaller than originally designed and not the same flavors. But it still turned out ok. Also, thankfully, I have a very forgiving and understanding customer.
