Meet our Jumping for Joy Cupcakes 💕🧁
These cupcakes are named after one of my favorite people from church, Miss Joy.
Just a week after we started attending our church, Joy reached out because she was hosting a birthday luncheon and wanted some fancy cupcakes for the occasion. She wasn't picky—her only request was that they be filled. Everything else was left up to me.
So I created a vanilla bean cupcake filled with silky vanilla custard and topped with fresh raspberry buttercream. Thankfully, she loved them! So much so that she's been ordering them again and again for family celebrations for the last three years.
They've become one of my absolute favorite cupcakes to make, and every time I bake a batch, I think of the kindness and encouragement Joy showed our family when we were new.
If you happen to spot these at the market, grab one while you can—they never stick around for long! 💗

I may have accidentally taken a little social media break while taking the kids to Carowinds on Sunday... and then needed all of yesterday to recover. 😂 Apparently I'm not quite as young as I used to be!

Tonight officially kicks off the season, and we could not be more excited. The market will run every Tuesday from 5:00–7:30 PM through mid-October — rain or shine! ☔🌙
We’ll also have a food truck every single Tuesday, and tonight we’re starting things off with the amazing Rub and Grub Mexique! 🌮
