I tested a wonderful gluten-free chocolate chip cookie recipe last week! They are so good, my husband said he couldn't tell they were gluten free! I know there is a shortage of homemade gluten free treats so I might have to see if I can make these available around Christmas or when market starts up again in April.

**these would not be safe for anyone with severe celiac or contact allergies to wheat, they are produced in a kitchen that produces mainly gluten-full breads and treats.

Very pleased with how my test batch of sourdough spice cookies turned out! I think I just need to increase the spices a bit. I felt that I needed to include these in my Christmas cookie box because I have to make them every year for my family, and they are a holiday staple! I plan to test eggnog cookies and peppermint spritz if I can figure out how to convert them to sourdough.

A bit of a crunch on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, really lovely. I think it tastes pretty similar, but also definitely different (mostly in texture) from my traditional recipe.
