May is Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, a time dedicated to recognizing and supporting those affected by this lifelong genetic condition that impacts the lungs and digestive system. This month carries a special meaning as we begin our annual fundraiser in memory of Kayla Gilbert.

Kayla, a vibrant daughter, sister, and friend faced cystic fibrosis with a strength that inspired everyone around her. Since her passing in 2018, Joe — our owner and Kayla’s brother — has continued to look for ways to honor her life while striving to support the efforts that push CF research forward.

Throughout May, we’re committed to contributing to the advancement of cystic fibrosis research. The profits from every lung cookie sold will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Kayla. To make participating easier, we’re offering shipping for anyone who isn’t local or can’t pick up in person. Cookies are $6 each and orders can be placed by messaging us on Facebook.
