Happy Holy Week, friends!

If you're still looking for breads and treats for Easter weekend, here is my menu for the holiday weekend🤩

Pick ups will be Saturday, starting late morning through the evening.

Orders will close Thursday morning, so comment or message to order your goodies!

Hey friends! We have a few new followers these days, so I thought I'd do a little re-introduction for all the new folks. ☺️

I'm Downen and I have lived here in Anna for over 20 years. I love this community and love sharing my sourdough with y'all. Since my primary job is wrangling, teaching, and refereeing my kids, I bake in my spare time. That isn't always consistent (because kids), so here's how it works for my little kitchen -

*I am almost always available for orders! Just shoot me a message with what you would like and I'll jump right on it. The sourdough boules require 48 hour notice and everything else 24 hours.

*When I have the time I will post open orders for a weekend with specific items. Feel free to claim anything off of that weekend's menu.

I accept cash and Venmo, payment at pick up is fine. Pick up at my house at designated times or I am usually available to deliver in Anna, Melissa, VA.

Now for today! I had some orders to prepare for the winter weekend we're having❄️❄️🥶 and I will have extras available for pick up this afternoon.

Y'all! Look at this perfect Christmas ornament 🤩🎄

I received a message from Sarah Marie (aka The Donut Lady Bakehouse ) that she had left a gift at my door. I don't know what I was expecting, but I couldn't have imagined a more thoughtful surprise! The brownies are a sweet bonus, too 😋

I am so very thankful for such a great little community of local bakers who are always so supportive of each other. Sarah, you are one of a kind and I am blessed to know you!

What a great way to start off December! And I'll be finding ways to share the holiday joy💜

We're gearing up for Thanksgiving here in my little kitchen. While I will be out of town next week, I still want to offer some yummy sourdough goods for y'all this weekend! I will have a limited menu available for pick up this weekend. Comment or text to get your order in by Thur.

Dozen- $14 (these are available fresh or par-baked and frozen for you to reheat)

Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies

Sourdough Stuffing Kit (a full loaf of cubed, seasoned, toasted sourdough with Thanksgiving seasoning blend and instructions)
$14 per kit

Weekend orders!

This weekend is pretty open for my usually busy little family, so I'm able open up orders for Saturday pick ups! 🥳

These cookies are my official favorite fall treat!

I have never had success with oatmeal cookies until this recipe. These Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies come out perfectly chewy with the depth from brown butter and the fall flavors of pumpkin and cinnamon. 🎃🍁
