These cookies deserve their own post and your full attention-

I could not stop laughing while I made them and I hope they make you smile, too!! Karissa Muhammad had basically the best first birthday theme I've ever seen and I LOVED making these for her little meatball!

Y'all, I did it, I finally took the plunge... because of course I did 🫠

I've spent the last 48 hours staring at a jar of white goop, then staring at a ball of dough, then staring at my oven door, all the while hoping something edible would come out of this in the end!🫣

It was around hour 37 that I discovered that Every. Single. Member. of my immediate family greatly prefers yeast bread to sourdough, and really didn't care to even try the end product 🤦‍♀️ oh well, more for me I guess!

Honestly I am not mad about how this first attempt came out! (A little dark, we've got some time and temp issues to figure out) The starter has obviously, lovingly, been named ♥️ Fat Baby ♥️

I really want to practice (not selling, just for fun!) but obviously shouldn't be eating a boule or two of sourdough bread by myself every week, so if you're interested in a free loaf of possibly okay or possibly mediocre or possibly inedible loaf of bread- hit me up!!!

Also, how long should I expect it to take my official certificate to arrive???

Hey friends, its been a while!!

I'm still here, still making those beautiful delicious sugar cookies for all of your special occasions, but I definitely took it slow this summer to soak in the time with my kids- and rediscover my JOY in the kitchen!!

I've made a lot of family favorites like cinnamon rolls and danishes, but my kids have offered up some new challenges for me over the last few months- chocolate star bread 🤤, pretzle "bites" (these babies are kinda huge!), my absolute favorite braided garlic bread, and these s'mores cookies... y'all... So. Good. AND- all available allergy friendly!

I'm not closing the door on sugar cookies, and I'll be sharing some of the summer's creations over the next few days, but I do want to remind you that Fat Baby has a lot more to offer!! Let me know what I can bake for you!!

So when this mama said "he wouldn't give me a theme this year... he likes blue and green. He's turning 12. Maybe some that say 'bruh,' and some 'teenager loading'?" I 100% felt that!!

So Daniel, bruh, hope you had a good birthday!
