As an honored member of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), I was challenged to complete the Better World Project. My goal was to demonstrate the positive impact entrepreneurship has on financial security, children's education, health, and work-life balance. As CEO, Founder of Rhuby's Desserts, I faced this challenge with focus and urgency. With the help of Christian Osborne, Audrielle Osborne, Jessica Serrano, Elizabeth Hammond, Andrews Chamber of Commerce, Woven Homeschool Academy, Andrews Health Department, and my community, I was able to accomplish each goal. We officially began startup on February 09, 2024, and actively continue to impact our community daily in Andrews, Texas. This is a passion project. My long-term goals are to impact my community by teaching entrepreneurship as an avenue to financial security. NSLS helped to enact my plans with guidance. We faced challenges in investing, compliance, research, and marketing/sales expertise. Ultimately, we overcame and flourished.
