Gotta say..I'm getting pretty good 😂🙌🎉

(Each R&D batch yours truly gets to test a square. Being a thorough scientist... I'm diligently making many batches, "crafting the perfect process" 😉).

They're tasty and I look forward to bringing them to Anderson County, S.C. this spring!

R&D Day at SFRC 👩‍🔬🥼🔬🌗

What is there to research? You ask. SFRCs are already the best Rum Cakes available in all the lands! You say. How does one top what's been done for over 40 years?!?!

Well friends, I am trying something new...a Rumless line (whaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?)

Same moist cakes. Same yummy/buttery-sweet glaze---just without the rum.

Today, I am trialing Orange Cranberry. (My GMA makes these as muffins and I absolutely LOVE them).

If it comes out even half as good as what the G makes, I'll add it to the line so y'all can enjoy the deliciousness of this yummy treat.

Ps Don't worry, though! Rum Cakes aren't going anywhere ❤️❤️❤️. I'm simply expanding the catalog as I learn to bake more goodies ☺️☺️☺️

The matching ticket holder (no names/personal information will be collected or posted) is the winner. Winnings can be picked up the next day, or the following weekend, at the Jockey Lot.
