Happy New Year! Hopefully you all had a great holiday season and things are finally slowly returning to normal. We had a little break from cooking and we’re ready to heat up the kitchen again! OVEN BAKED STEAK: $18 for two 7 ounce pieces of round steak, browned and baked in a rich brown gravy. Tender and yummy!
BARBECUED PORK RIBS: $15 half rack(5-7 ribs) or full rack (10-14 ribs) $28. These are slow roasted, tender, and sweet.

HOMEMADE SOUP: $11 quart
(Susie’s Chili, Cheesy Potato Bacon, Sweet Corn Chowder, Tomato Basil, Ham and Bean, Broccoli Cheddar, Hamburger Veggie, and Butternut Squash Bisque (in season)). All soup comes frozen in two pint containers, ready to thaw and heat)
HOMEMADE HAM BALLS: $7.50 for 6. (2” ham balls in a tangy, sweet sauce. They come frozen, ready to thaw and heat.
HOMEMADE QUICHE: 9” for $22. 6”for $8.
All quiche starts with farm fresh eggs, cheese, cream, and onions. Add-ins include ham, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, sweet peppers, etc. You pick the ingredients in your quiche. We’ll try to oblige. Comes baked, ready to eat or freeze for the future.
HOMEMADE MEATLOAF: 1 pound $13. (It’s filled with ground beef, onions, eggs, ketchup, and spices. It comes fully baked, frozen, ready to thaw and reheat
HOMEMADE HAM LOAF: 1 pound $12. (Ground ham, eggs, Graham cracker crumbs and milk. It’s cut in 6 convenient slices and covered in a sweet and tangy glaze)

(This roast is slow roasted with potatoes, carrots, and onions for hours, then covered in rich, pan-dripping gravy. It comes frozen, ready to thaw , heat, and serve

Suburban Sisters accepts cash, Venmo, and pre-approved checks (made out to Susan Lyon). We don’t take any plastic. Pick up is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at 1431 Grand Avenue or 439 Rookwood Drive. We do have delivery for orders over $100 for free when we have a driver. And, within Ames city limits only. We will deliver other orders for a $6 fee if we can, but will not deliver orders for under $30. If you have questions, or would like a menu emailed to you, contact Susie at 515-451-5497. We generally need 3-5 days for lead time, but it’s never too early to place an order. We fill up fast. If it’s a large order especially it may need to be ordered a week ahead of more.
