Preparing for Christmas in July!!!

Merry Christmas Jam was in the stream canner today!!!!

Cranberries
Strawberries
Fresh Orange Juice
Orange Zest
Warm Spices

This is Chester’s favorite jam I make. He goes through so much of this one!

I spent today with my grandbabies and my niece.
We spent a few hours at the indoor park before stopping for shaved ice.
We made it almost all the way home before the heavy rain hit.

Now to finish up the evening by making some White Peach Bellini Jam!!!

So my plan is still to make mulberry and Merry Christmas Jam this week.
But when I went to the store to grab some things for hubby’s bday last night, I saw they had white peaches!
A few months ago my middle son had suggested I try to make Peach Bellini Jam.
I did some research and saw the recipes listed white peaches instead of regular peaches.

Today, I am going to try his suggestion and make Peach Bellini Jam!

It is supposed to be a rainy week starting today.

This will make it much easier to stay in bed and just snuggle BUT I will get up and get some tasks accomplished.

I still have my goal to work out 4 days a week.

I will also be making more Merry Christmas Jam and mulberry jam.

Fresh plum jam is on my agenda for today.

I expect to have fresh mulberries, peaches, and figs over the next couple of weeks.

The arrival of spring and summer brings an exciting range of seasonal fruits for me to incorporate into my jams and recipes.

My house is about to be full of grandkids doing Home Depot kid crafts but I am taking some time while only 2 are here to get some jars ready for tomorrow!
