🍂☕ Nazareth, we're coming back tomorrow! 🍞🎃

We've been a little quiet on Facebook lately, but we promise we haven't been sitting around eating cookies. Not this time!

With the regular Farmers Market season wrapping up on October 31st, we've been busy figuring out how to make ordering our goodies easier during the off-season.

Good news! We've picked our new ordering platform! 🎉

Now comes the fun part... loading all of our products onto it. We're hoping to have everything finalized this week and will share more details very soon. Stay tuned!

Now, about tomorrow...

🌿🫒 First, a little Rosemary & Olive announcement.

They're gone. Already. Every single one.

We had quite a few people message us to reserve a loaf, and before we even got to market day, every Rosemary & Olive Loaf was claimed!

You people really love your olives!

But don't worry, we'll still have all of our other regular sourdough favorites, and our FALL SPECIALS are taking center stage this week!

🍎 APPLE FRITTER FOCACCIA
Sweet, caramelized apples with cinnamon, topped with a light glaze drizzle. It's everything wonderful about fall baked into a sourdough focaccia.

🎃 PUMPKIN SPICE CINNAMON ROLLS
Sweet, soft, covered in glaze, and practically begging to be enjoyed with a cup of Five Eight coffee on a chilly fall morning.

🍪 PUMPKIN SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES
We take our pumpkin sourdough cookie dough and toss it around in a bowl of cinnamon sugar before baking. A little tumble here, a little tumble there, here a shake, there a shake, and out comes a cookie that tastes like fall decided to high five your taste buds.

And of course, we'll have our regular lineup of sourdough loaves, English Muffins, and cookies!

🍂☕ WE'RE SET UP IN SAYLORSBURG! 🥖🎃

We're officially open at the Saylorsburg Farmers Market at Saylors Inn, and we'll be hanging out here until 1 PM!

As mentioned last night, our Classic Loaves didn't make the cut this week after our starter decided to misbehave. Apparently it didn't care that we had a market to attend. 😂

But the tables are still loaded with plenty of sourdough goodies, including:

🍂☕ Tomorrow we're back in Saylorsburg... with some good news and some bad news! 🎂🥖

Let's get the bad news out of the way first.

Our sourdough starter decided this was the week to have an attitude. 🙄

We had some issues with it yesterday and today, and unfortunately that means...

No Classic Loaves tomorrow. BOOOO! 👎

It happens. Sourdough is a living thing, and every once in a while it likes to act like a teenager by stomping off and slamming a door.

Thankfully, we got things back on track and we'll still have our other regular sourdough loaves and goodies with us!

Now for the much better news...

🎂 Tomorrow is our Head Baker Michelle's BIRTHDAY! 🎉

We had already planned to make this a slightly smaller market week because after the market we're going to put away the flour, turn off the ovens, and actually enjoy the rest of the weekend together.

Because even Head Bakers are entitled to a birthday!

So we'll have a little less inventory than usual tomorrow, but there will still be plenty worth getting out of bed for!

🎃 NEW TO SAYLORSBURG: Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Cookies!

We took our Snickerdoodle cookie base, added real pumpkin purée, and gave it a proper fall makeover.

And speaking of fall...

🍎 Apple Fritter Focaccia is back!

We'll also have our regular lineup of cookies, English Muffins, sourdough loaves (minus poor Classic 😢), and plenty of other Five Eight goodies.

Hello again Nazareth Farmers Market.

The weather is getting a little out of hand. The rain is falling, the wind is blowing, and the wet chill is setting in.

The market is calling it a day!

We still have some items for sale and we can hang out for a little longer if anyone wants anything. Then we will be heading to Saylorsburg/Brodheadsville area to peddle our wares there.

We are packing things up in the van (thankfully not down by the river), so if you still need anything, please reach out and message us. We will make sure you get hooked up.

Rain or Shine the bread will be fine!

Sorry, that's the best I could come up with this early in the morning.

Five Eight Coffee and Sourdough is heading to the Nazareth Farmers Market.

The weather looks.... well, wet. But don't fret (see what I did there?), because the bread, coffee, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and focaccia will be fresh and ready for a new home.

We are actively loading up to head to Nazareth. We are not sure what awaits us. The grapevine has said there have been several other vendors who canceled. So whether we will be set up with a canopy or just peddling some baked goods from our van, we will be somewhere in the Sqaure this morning.

We are running a couple of minutes late already, but we will be there before 9am.

Oh, and before I forget, we have a couple new fall items.

We packed everything back up and we're now set up at Mountain View Vineyard, Winery, Brewery & Distillery for the afternoon!
