Can I be candid about small businesses and our economy?

By now, I think we all know the economy’s been a struggle, with prices higher than ever. Everyone’s feeling it, and we get that people are spending less. But with the rise of Amazon, SHEIN, Temu, and the big chains that will always ‘out-compete’ small businesses, it’s becoming harder than ever for local shops like us to keep up.

This isn’t a pity post—it’s a call to action. If you love a small business, if it would break your heart to see them no longer around, then please, PLEASE, choose to support them over those big retailers. Every little bit truly helps. So get out there— Need a gift? Shop local. Want to meet a friend for coffee? Go to your local coffee shop. Celebrating? Go to the restaurant down the street. Need some vitamins? Visit the local supplement & health foods shop. Need some pet supplies, some jewelry, some plants, a new outfit??? You get the gist, stay local!!!

We are headed into what should be the busiest time of the year for small businesses — be sure to support them so they are around for years to come creating the community you love to be a part of! 💗
