Hello everyone it has been a very long time since I have posted on here, but exciting news!!! Cupcakes are back, but I now live in Aiken SC and I will only be able to serve the surrounding areas. For the past two week my team and I have been working so hard on our competition pieces for the ACF SP-2 Pastry competition held here in Myrtle Beach. Today my team and I took home two bronze and a silver medal. I’m so proud of the hard work that my team and I put into this competition. Even though we had some bumps in the road at the competition and during practice we still managed to hold it together and finish strong. Thank you Chef Geoff Blount and chef Zink for sticking with us and preparing us for this competition. @ Myrtle Beach Convention Center

Hey Facebook, First I want to say thank you to everyone who has been praying for me from the beginning of my Culinary journey. Second I want to say thank you to God who has taking me on this journey because He knows and now I know that this is the path I am supposed to be on. It has been a crazy ride and to think that it is almost over is unreal. I was just starting to apply for culinary school two years ago at this time and now that I am in my final semester is crazy. Starting today and going on until next week I will be taking my finals. These test will determine if I will graduate. The harder exam will be next week because that is my exit exam. Please keep my classmates and I in your prayers as we are coming to an end in our culinary journeys. Also since this past Saturday I have had a stuffy nose and drainage going on. I hope and pray that I am not getting sick because this would be the worst time to get it. So please pray that this will end soon and that I will not be anxious or worried about the exams. I’m am so excited that this is the end but also very nervous because it’s the end.

Hello everyone I know it has been awhile since I have been on here but I have been back in Myrtle Beach for about two months now and I have a new job. I am currently working at Rivertown Bistro in Conway and it has been great. I also just hit the halfway point in my semester. So that means only 3 more seven week sets( 1 whole semester and a half of a semester) left before I graduate. So excited. God has been there with me this whole journey and I want to thank everyone who has been there for me and praying. This journey is just the beginning to amazing things and I can’t wait to see what God has I store for it. Keep the prayers coming.

It's crazy how fast time flies by, but good things always come to an end and then it's time to get back to reality. This summer has been a blessing and an experience of a life time. My time down in Kiawah has been the best experience and I'm so glad that I was fortunate enough to have gotten this opportunity to have my first internship there. Four more days left of my internship and then it's back to school for one more year and I will have my culinary degree. Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support keep them coming.

Our Story

Chapter 1: In the Beginning I needed a way to pay for mission trips that I wanted to go on with my school and church. So, Glass Slipper Baking was created from a love of baking and a desire to work for donations toward the mission trips. In the beginning, $1 homemade cupcakes were sold at my local church during Wednesday night meals and at school during the week. Then, the opportunity arose to place a bakery box filled with cupcakes at our favorite auto mechanic shop. As business grew, I was delivering special orders locally - birthdays, graduation parties, Father-Daughter Dances, and business parties. I can’t thank you all enough for the support you have given me in this endeavor. I have made and sold over 5K $1 cupcakes, and have fully paid for three mission trips!

Chapter 2: Culinary School Adventures After much prayer, I entered culinary school at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach at Horry-Georgetown Technical College. I had to put the cupcake business on hold for now and focus on this new opportunity. I am proud to report that I have graduated recently with an Applied Associates of Science Degree in Culinary Arts! Yippee! I am now working on another degree in Baking and Pastry Arts - graduating May 2019. Thank you for supporting me thus far! Stay tuned for culinary greatness :)
