We know not to put sourdough starter down the drain (right?) so putting the diluted water on some outdoor plants is a great way to put it to use! Simply add water to your jar and shake it vigorously to get it all off the sides. Top the rest of the jar with water and water plants with it!

* Special note I do not recommend this for indoor plants and not all outdoor plants like it. Research which plants need lower PH before doing this.
