We take so much pride in our Austrian heritage......but then there's Bryan.....Southern Appalachian, Scottch Irish, from the Mts of east Tennessee and Western North Carolina.....and now our hearts are heavy.... So proud that the BLOOD that flowed in Dollys veins flows in our daughters veins. Bryan's cousin Dolly.....though she was distant she was family. As a child of God we will see her again! She refused the presidential medal of freedom 3 times....... as a child of Christ the one true God, she simply wanted to love every one and entertain everyone

It's a SMOKER here in Knoxville today at the European Cultural Festival!! So hot we have had to put ice packs on our POS system!! Edit... the heat index hit 103!! We went through 300 pounds of ice in 10 hours.

Ok everyone. It'st time to come out and eat more strudel!! Tomorrow, Sunday August 16th we will be in downtown Knoxville at the European Cultural Festival on Market Square from 11-6. Yes.. we will have our FULL set up and menu including our wurstel grill going for just 7 hours.

In the Crazy of getting ready for this fall season I found a little escape.... a Lindt chocolate from my last Lufthansa flight to Germany. When we think that December 28th cant come fast enough, we keep being encouraged by the fact that we get to bring a true Taste of Austria to all of you over the next few months. take me away

As we get ready to leave today to head to Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair i saw a reel from our favorite place to relax in Germany, Therme Erding . All ofl our German and Austrian friends here in America, this Saturday July 11th is national skinny dipping day. Yup Skinny Dipping Day.....or FKK....do you FKK???? let us kniw in the comments. Were really missing the banja!
