This morning, I had the great honor of attending a Sunday church service at Holy Family Church, Kawempe. It was a blessed moment of prayer, reflection, and fellowship with the people of Kawempe as we thanked God for His continued guidance and protection.

During the service, I requested the Reverend and the entire congregation to always keep our President, H.E . in their prayers β€” that God may grant him wisdom, strength, and protection as he goes through this campaign period.

I also took a moment to talk about our party manifesto, emphasizing our shared vision of good governance, improved service delivery, and the transformation of our communities through unity and accountability.

As the area Mayor, I reaffirmed my commitment to work closely with faith leaders and all stakeholders to ensure that Kawempe continues to grow in peace, faith, and progress.
May God bless Holy Family Church and all the people of Kawempe. πŸ™

Today I visited the people of Mpererwe and Komamboga Market to interact directly with the community and hear from them about the challenges they are facing in their daily lives.

During the visit, I held a fruitful discussion with the market vendors, local leaders, and residents, where several key issues were raised β€” including sanitation, drainage, space management, and security within the market area.

As the Mayor of Kawempe Division, I assured the people that I will personally follow up on these concerns and ensure that they are addressed. I emphasized that leadership means service, and I am fully committed to clearing all the challenges affecting our hardworking market community.

Together, we shall make Mpererwe and Komamboga better and more organized places for business and livelihood.

Today, I attended a meeting with the stakeholders of Mpererwe and those along St. Stephen Road, which is set to be constructed in early November. The meeting was also attended by area councillors and LC leaders, who joined me in engaging the community about the importance of this project.

I humbly requested all stakeholders to cooperate and allow access through their land so that the construction of the road can begin smoothly. This development will not only ease transport but also boost business activities and improve service delivery in the area.

I thank all residents, councillors, and local leaders who have shown great support and commitment towards this project for the betterment of our community.

Together, let’s build a better Kawempe!

In my capacity as the Chairman of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Kawempe District, i had a strategic meeting in Makerere iii attended by all Political leaders across Kampala.

Our goal was to strengthen the presence of NUP at the grassroots, especially in the ghettos, as guided by our President H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) β€” to go where the people are and stand with them.

We remain committed to unity, service, and empowering our communities for lasting change. The ghetto is the foundation of our struggle, and together we shall build a new Uganda.

This evening, I attended a meeting organized by Hon. Balimwezo on behalf of our brother Waiswa Mufumbiro, who is currently in prison.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss strategic plans for our party. The session was attended by Party representatives, councillors, and City Mayors under the National Unity Platform (NUP), including Hon. Kyanzi, Hon. Katabu, Hon. Zahara Luyuliika, Ssemugoma Hamdan, Mayor Mberaze, and Nubian Li, among others.

In my remarks, I emphasized to the team from Nakawa that our main focus must be to make H.E. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert the President of Uganda β€” once that is achieved, all other goals will follow.

Today, I had a productive meeting with LC Chairpersons during our Budget Conference.
In my address, I emphasized the importance of devolution, reminding leaders that bringing services closer to our people enhances accountability and participation in development.

I also highlighted the tremendous progress we’ve made in improving infrastructure across Kawempe Division β€” including works on Mukalazi Road, Muganzi Lwaza Road in Bwaise, Gabogola Road in Kakungulu, and 34X Road in Kyebando, among others currently under construction.

Additionally, I noted our continued efforts to strengthen the health sector, ensuring that our communities have access to better and more reliable health services.

Together with our LC leadership and all stakeholders, we remain committed to building a Kawempe that works for every resident.
