6 years ago, today, our journey began with this one simple post. IYKYK.
At that time, there was no business name, not even a plan. All I had were 3 of my grandmother's bread pans and a damn good bread recipe.
You see, at that time, I had already been a nail technician for 16 years, and I had moved my salon into my home. I baked bread for my household quite regularly, so one of the perks my clients received was being able to 'break bread' that came hot and fresh out the oven. This act was always followed by the phrase
" Girl, you should sell this. Why yuh don't sell this?" Well... one day, I listened. 3 loaves of bread in Granny Beryl's pans was the beginning of something great.
Then Covid hit.
While businesses closed, which included mine and my husband's, bread sold. The 3-6 loaves that were sold as a "side hustle" became our lifeline. Beryl's Bread became a staple during those difficult times and grew into what it is today.
Entrepreneurship is never an easy task, and to stand here 6 years later is one worth acknowledging and celebrating. One that would not be possible without your continued support and encouragement over these past years.
Thank you for sticking around through the highs and lows and enjoying and believing in this product as much as I do.
