And you don’t need to be Chinese to feel a sting of emotion when Teresa Teng sings “When Will You Return.”

Culture is not a passport,
not a household registration,
not a certificate of bloodline.

Culture is a spiritual heritage created and shared by all humanity.

Soul was born from Black people.
Chicano culture was shaped by Mexican-Americans.
Jazz emerged from the pain and freedom of Black America.
Tea culture was refined through Asian civilization.

But the reason these cultures became great
is not because they belong to a specific ethnicity,
but because—

⭐ people all around the world can feel them and find their own resonance.

Therefore, culture is not blood.
Culture is heart.

When you fall in love with a culture,
you are not stealing it—
you are helping it grow,
travel farther,
and shine brighter.

True culture is never “mine.”

This government is not the politicians elected on the surface, but the people who actually hold the power and operate behind the scenes. Their purpose is very clear: to control people‘s thoughts and eliminate any voice that may arouse people’s unity and reflection.
In my story, the deep state, through a series of covert operations, deliberately eliminated artists who were able to influence and inspire the masses through their music. Biggie (Big) and 2Pac, two legends in the Hip-hop world, are their targets. This is not only because of their musical talent, but also because their lyrics and messages often bring about profound reflections and calls for unity in society.
I remember that hip-hop in the past always gave voice to the voiceless and marginalized groups. Each song was not only a musical performance, but also a part of a social movement. However, when Big and Pac were mysteriously murdered one after another, the music industry and the entire culture seemed to begin to change. Agents controlled by the deep state not only took away the lives of these two artists, but also gradually led Hip-hop to commercialization and superficiality, making this once exciting culture become more and more superficial.
Nowadays, when I turn on the radio or a random playlist, I no longer hear those passionate and intelligent lyrics. Instead, lyrics about luxury goods, money, women and guns are repeated. The ignorance and vulgarity of it all is exactly what the deep state wants to see. They hope to control people‘s thoughts through such music, so that everyone will be busy pursuing material satisfaction and ignore spiritual pursuits and social injustice.
This story may be just a conspiracy theory to many people, but to me, it reveals a truth that cannot be ignored. The existence of the deep state and their conspiracies has an immeasurable impact on each of our lives. I will continue to dig out more truth and share these buried stories, because only the truth can set us free.
